DUBLIN FEMINIST FILM FESTIVAL 2021
The Dublin Feminist Film Festival is a celebratory couple of days, and a commitment to inclusive art is reflected in the programme each year, showcasing a range of compelling work from around the world – all part of the mission to celebrate female filmmaking in all its many forms. No national cinema in the world has anything close to parity when it comes to female filmmakers.
This year, the theme is Care and Connection, qualities being considered globally - now more than ever. Bringing this focus to the programme, connection is found throughout the selected films: the endless ways women connect and care for each other, across generations, through their ancestry, and in the secret, immeasurable strength of a sister or a friend.
The Dublin Feminist Film Festival is available to rent on IFI@Home until August 22nd 2021.
