As cinemas and audiences alike continue to adjust to the post-Covid world, National Cinema Day on Saturday, September 2nd, seeks to build on the success of last year’s event, which saw over 200,000 cinema admissions.
Celebrating the intrinsic pleasure of cinema as a communal experience, it is both an expression of gratitude to those who have come out in such numbers to support cinemas since their reopening, and as a reminder and encouragement to those who have perhaps been more reluctant to come back to laugh, gasp, and cry with a room full of people sharing the same emotions.
All tickets for cinema screenings on Saturday, September 2nd are €4.00. Pre-order now on our website or purchase your tickets in-person or over the phone (01 679 3477) from the IFI Box Office!
