Celebrating our 80th anniversary in 2023, the Irish Film Institute (IFI) is Ireland’s national cultural institution for film. In addition to presenting the very best Irish, independent and international cinema – more than 50% of which cannot be seen anywhere else in Ireland – we engage the next generation of cinephiles through school screenings and film career programmes, as well as safeguard and share 125 years of Ireland’s moving image heritage through the IFI Irish Film Archive.
