Acclaimed Irish documentary maker Ross Whitaker (Unbreakable, When Ali Came to Ireland) is back with a new feature, and it looks like it’s going to be really stunning.
Between Land and Sea is an observational documentary which takes us through a year in the life of prime Irish surfing spot Lahinch in County Clare. The film follows a community of surfers trying to get by in this harsh climate, following their daily struggles with work and family alongside the endless draw of the waves.
The result it a documentary with some incredible visuals on offer, and just as many stirring tales of survival.
Director Ross Whitaker will be on hand for a Q&A following two special screenings of Between Land and Sea on March 5th at 16.00 and March 7th at 18.30.
