JobBridge Position: Finance and Admin Assistant

The IFI has a vacancy to be filled under the FAS Jobbridge Internship Scheme. The vacancy is for a Finance and Admin Assistant.

Description
The intern will gain practical experience in the busy finance and admin depart of the IFI. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the intern will assist in ensuring that comprehensive data is maintained. The intern will collate financial data for use in managing the cafe bar and cinema, reviewing weekly figures, attendances, trends, calculating and monitoring margins, auditing, updating and maintaining staff information and supporting the HR function The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following interpreting figures and business decision-making tools. On completion the intern will have attained skills in various aspects of working in a busy finance and admin department in an arts organisation with specific focus on its cinema and cafe bar activities.

Skills Requirements
The intern should have an interest and understanding in finance and accounting. Attention to details and organisational skills are very important. The intern must be computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheets in particular. An interest in the arts and cinema would be preferable.

Please Note:
This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.See eligibility criteria above.
