Thank you for booking tickets to the Irish Film Institute’s special screening of Forbidden Planet, with George R.R. Martin in attendance. This event is presented in association with Dublin 2019: An Irish WorldCon.

Please read the IMPORTANT INFORMATION below in relation to the event:

1. The event is completely SOLD OUT and additional tickets will NOT be available for sale on the evening. Only guests with a confirmed booking should attend the IFI.

2. Tickets for this event will not be available for collection from IFI Box Office until 18.30 on Saturday, August 17th. The queue for entry to the event will open at 18.30. Seating will be unreserved.

3. In order to redeem your booking, please bring Photo ID matching the name on the booking to the IFI Box Office. If you purchased multiple tickets, please only collect your tickets when ALL attendees have arrived at the venue.

4. On collection, tickets will be exchanged for unique wristbands which will permit entry to the event. Please ensure wristbands are worn AT ALL TIMES.

5. Doors will close 10 MINUTES before the start of the event, and latecomers WILL NOT be admitted.

6. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with George R.R. Martin about Forbidden Planet which will focus on the influence such works have had on his own writing and career.

7. We regret that George R.R. Martin will NOT sign merchandise or pose for photographs. Audience members will be invited to submit questions for the Q&A prior to the event commencing. Please note that George R.R. Martin will not be answering questions about The Winds of Winter.

8. In the interests of health and safety, please follow the instructions of IFI staff members and security at all times.
