June 24th, 2025: The IFI Documentary Festival is looking for original and exciting feature films from Irish filmmakers to be included as part of its 2025 edition, which will run this year from September 24th to 28th. Submissions are now open for Irish feature-length documentaries (over 60 minutes).
To apply, visit www.ifi.ie/ifi-docfest-2025-submission-form. The deadline for submissions is 18.00 on Friday, July 4th 2025.
Now in its 24th year, the IFI Documentary Festival has screened acclaimed Irish documentaries including In the Shadow of Beirut, Lost Boys, Housewife of the Year, The Song Cycle, and Love Yourself Today. International hits such as Smoke Sauna Sisterhood, Your Fat Friend, Soundtrack to a Coup d’Etat, Us, Our Pets, and The War and Black Box Diaries have all had their Irish premieres at the festival. The festival brings the very best of non-fiction filmmaking from home and abroad to IFI cinemas.
