June 23rd 2020: Following the announcement by An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar on Thursday, March 12th in relation to COVID-19, the Irish Film Institute cinemas, filmshop, café bar and library remain closed to the public.
In light of restrictions on indoor gatherings being eased, announced on Friday, June 19th, we are now working on a number of new measures in advance of opening our doors so visitors can return to the IFI in comfort and safety.
Please keep an eye on the IFI website and our social media channels for updates.
The IFI is very grateful for the encouragement and support from its members, friends and visitors in this difficult time. As a registered charity, your help is more vital than effort. Visit ifi.ie/donate to support its work.
