Dunkirk is out now, exclusively in 70mm at the Irish Film Institute, preserving director Christopher Nolan’s spectacular vision of a defining moment in World War 2 which was shot on large format film.
Nolan’s approach brings in elements of the battle on land, sea and in the air, into an incredibly successful structure which shows a huge amount in just 106 breathtaking minutes.
Now you can get the whole story with Dunkirk, a new book by Joshua Levine. It dives straight into the forced retreat of 1940 which culminated in hundreds of thousands of troops waiting to be evacuated from the beaches in France, and also includes a fascinating interview with director Christopher Nolan by Levine himself.
The book is out now, and thanks to William Collins we’ve got copies to give away. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is answer the question below and fill in your details.
