Essentially a shipwrecked-in-space story, Gravity, from director Alfonso Cuarón (Y Tu Mamá También, Children of Men) sees George Clooney and Sandra Bullock set adrift when a debris field destroys their shuttle and kills the rest of the crew. She is the specialist on her first mission, while he is the veteran with an endless supply of anecdotes. With a limited supply of oxygen, and racing against time before the shrapnel returns, they must make their way to the Chinese or Russian space stations and use one of their modules to return to Earth.
Gravity is now showing at the IFI in both 2D and 3D.
To celebrate the release of Gravity, we have a special Gravity backpack to give away, filled with related items including: a t-shirt, notebook, keyring/bottle opener, telescope, space light and more, all courtesy of Warner Bros.
