Mary Kate O’Flanagan is an award-winning storyteller and expert in story on the screen. For January’s Bigger Picture she will consider the strengths in Hitchcock’s classic narrative and how du Maurier’s original novel was brought to chilling life on screen by his masterly direction, framing and inimitable style. She will consider the devices used to propel the narrative and the performances that contribute to this classic drama and winner of Best Picture.
