Director Zvyagintsev offers a flawed hero, Kolya, who seeks to save his home from the corrupt local mayor. Symbolic and beautiful state-of-the-nation cinema from this contemporary auteur.

Retired international editor of The Irish Times and Moscow correspondent, Seamus Martin, will consider life in Russia today.

This event is taking place as part of the From Russia with Film Evening Course which runs from March 21st to April 25th at the IFI.
