The ‘wicked woman in power’ cinema role gets a sharp revisit by Emma Thompson as a late night TV host, at the top of her game for 30 years, but now under constant challenge from  social media and newer, younger talent coming up the line. When devoted fan Molly Patel (Mindy Kaling) is offered the chance to work as a writer on the show, the razor sharp host finds herself more than matched in wit. A funny, observant and topical comedy drama.
