June 12th - 16th
Bloomsday Montréal is primarily a celebration of Irish-Montréal heritage, culture and literature. The festival began in 2012, founded by the MCLL (McGill Community for Lifelong Learning), and in 2014, Festival Bloomsday Montréal became a non-profit organization. Festival Bloomsday Montréal not only boosts local pride and community spirit, but, as 40% of Quebecers have some Irish ancestry, builds awareness of diverse cultures and identities in the community.
Ballymun Lullaby opens the festival on the 12th June at the De Seve Cinema. De Sève Theatre at Concordia University
