Shebeen Flick is back in Kino Moviemento with a star-studded programme of loved and unseen Irish films as part of the St. Patrick’s celebrations in Berlin.
The screenings will showcase a selection of feature length films that have not yet been distributed in Germany alongside some favourite Irish classics.
Some of the unseen films include the romantic comedy Standby starring Jessica Paré (Mad Men) and Irish shooting star Brian Gleeson and Pilgrim Hill, the debut feature from Ireland’s raising star director Gerard Barrett.
The programme also includes celebratory screenings of the 18th anniversary of the Irish cult I Went Down and the 25th anniversary of the German release of Jim Sheridan’s award-winning My Left Foot starring Daniel Day-Lewis.
Come on Over will also screening at the Stummfilmkino Delphi as part of the festival.
