An animated documentary short, Irish Folk Furniture tells the stories behind old pieces of furniture scattered about Ireland and the homely ways of life that relied on them. Using stop-motion animation to depict cabinets, chairs, flour bins and other furniture pieces moving about the countryside, people explain through voiceovers their love for individual pieces. Honest and authentic, Irish Folk Furniture won the award for Best Animation at Sundance Film Festival.
