An Academy Award-nominated short, Pentecost brings us into the life of disgraced altar boy Damien Lynch (Scott Graham). A consistent trouble-maker at mass, Damien finds he has gone too far when his antics leave him grounded and banned from watching football, most notably Liverpool’s upcoming European Cup final. A chance at redemption emerges when he is required at an important service, one which the local priests encourage the boys to think is the equivalent of the most important football game of their lives.
