Peggy runs the family farm as well, if not better, than her mother and father did before her. Her brother Joe is pushing 50, suicidal and depressed. He's more than a reluctant farmer and an alcoholic. Joe becomes sole heir to the family farm and Peggy is dumbfounded. A woman to be reckoned with - she is not going to give her farm up too easy. For the Land is Mine is a tale of greed, succession and siblings.
