Yu Ming (Daniel Wu) tries to escape the monotony of life working in a supermarket in China by learning Irish (Gaelic) and moving to Ireland in this charming short that satirises the lack of Irish spoken in Ireland. Yu Ming assumes his grasp of Irish is too poor to be understood when Dublin’s natives fail to respond to it and, feeling despondent, it is only when an elderly Irish speaker meets Yu Ming that he finds the Ireland he was looking for.
