HORRORTHON: ANGUISH

Screening from 35mm, this overlooked, intricately constructed film from the director of Jamón, Jamón (1992) stars Zelda Rubenstein (Poltergeist, 1982) as an overbearing mother who forces her son (Michael Lerner) to kill.

The film includes a pre-recorded introduction by Santiago Fouz Hernández, Professor of Iberian Studies and Film at Durham University, UK, and coordinator, with Betty Bigas, of The BIGAS LUNA TRIBUTE (bigaslunatribute.info).
