Awards season 2020 is now in full swing, with the Golden Globes kicking things off in serious style early this morning.
It was a huge night for 1917 (opening January 10th 2020) from English director Sam Mendes, scooping both Best Director and Best Drama film against some fierce competition. Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood won a massive three awards including Best Musical or Comedy Picture, Best Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino and Best Supporting Actor for Brad Pitt.
Major upcoming awards include the BAFTAs with nominations on Jan 7th and the show on Feb 2nd, the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan 19th and the Oscars on Feb 9th, with the full list of nominations confirmed on January 13th. Oh and those ever popular Golden Raspberries will be on Saturday, February 8th for completists!
