Following on from a hugely successful partnership with IFI’s International Department in 2018, which saw screenings of Irish queer cinema in places as diverse as Australia, Bulgaria, Romania and Thailand, the Irish Film Institute is delighted to welcome the main programme of the Gaze Film Festival back to the IFI in Temple Bar.
This year’s selection of films at the IFI includes 2019’s Gaze Youth Screening and Gaze Festival Friends events. Also screening is a landmark of queer cinema, Richard Oswald’s Weimar-era Different from the Others, which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary.
