Roald Dahl’s delicious story was first brought to life on the big screen with Gene Wilder in the title role as the reclusive factory owner who offers five children a tour of his factory where the magical chocolate is made. Charlie and the others enter this kingdom of Oompa-Loompas, adventures and imaginings. Although recently updated, this original stands the test of time as a classic family film.
