WILD STRAWBERRIES: SONG FOR MARION

Director: Paul Andrew Williams

93 minutes, U.K.-Germany, 2012, Comedy/Drama/Music

Wild Strawberries is our bi-monthly film club for over 55s.

Vanessa Redgrave stands out in Paul Andrew Williams’ tale of survival and loss as Marion, who offsets the horror of her cancer treatment with participation in the local choir. Terence Stamp is her cranky husband who initially has no time for the singing and grudgingly drives her to rehearsals. Needless to say, he discovers how the group experience can, in fact, help him cope in this moving and brilliantly-acted drama.

€3.85 per person including regular tea or coffee before the screening. Please note: Wild Strawberries is our film club for over 55s. If you are lucky enough to look younger, please don’t take offence if we ask your age.
