Josh Harris was one of the most innovative, ambitious and daring of the internet pioneers to come out of the dot-com boom of the 1990s. He was the founder of Pseudo.com, the first Internet television network, as well as the curator of the groundbreaking and controversial project ‘Quiet’, where, at the turn of the millennium, over 100 people lived together on camera under extraordinary circumstances. This ‘Warhol of the web’ then took things a stage further by living with his girlfriend under 24-hour electronic surveillance for six months an experiment which coincided with the burst of the dot-com bubble and one which ultimately led to a mental breakdown.
