Bored by the tedium of her office job, Kate (Ruth Wilson), a single woman on the edge of her thirties, is sleepwalking through life in a dreary coastal town when a chance sexual encounter with a charismatic stranger (Tom Burke) ignites in her a passionate, potentially destructive obsession.
