This exciting new event in the Festival showcases a well known gay artist or performer presenting a film that inspired their life or career and maybe argue its influence on gay culture and society overall. The films may or may not have gay storylines or content; it’s the inspiration that counts! the event couldn’t launch better than with Mark O’halloran’s queer take on that unforgettable of all hunchback movies, dieterle’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, with Charles Laughton and Maureen O’hara. A rare chance to see a classic on the big screen and interpret it with new eyes.
