Irish Film Institute -THE CRITICAL TAKE (JANUARY 2013)

The IFI’s free monthly film club, The Critical Take will kick off the new year with a discussion about three very different but equally provocative films.

Our panellists – lecturer in Film Studies at DCU Stephanie McBride; writer and film critic Roe McDermott; and IFI Bookshop Manager Gerard Sweeney – will be starting off the debate on French director Bruno Dumont’s critically acclaimed new film Hors Satan (screening January 4th – 10th), Roman Polanski’s celebrated and Academy Award winning 1974 classic Chinatown (screening January 4th – 17th), and Quentin Tarantino’s hotly-anticipated Django Unchained (from January 18th) starring Jamie Foxx, Don Johnson and Leonardo DiCaprio.

This is a FREE but ticketed event. Please book your seat with the IFI Box Office on 01 679 3477 or when visiting.
