‘As rare as hen’s teeth’ says ?lm collector Paul Balbirnie of Never Put It in Writing, the 1964 comedy which he recently acquired in the U.S. and added to the Balbirnie collection preserved in the Irish Film Archive. The ?lm was shot on location in Ireland and England with American singer Pat Boone playing a young insurance executive who, thinking he’s been unfairly passed over for promotion, sends in a letter of complaint before discovering that he’s actually been appointed general manager by his employers.
