Humour and memorable images abound in Charlie Chaplin’s final silent outing featuring the great man as the Little Tramp, driven to distraction by assembly line tasks. Following the film there will be a performance of Silent Idols. This dance homage to films of the silent era including Modern Times is by The Performance Group, drawn from people aged 50+ who have participated in dance classes throughout Dublin. This is the final date of the group’s Bealtaine tour and is a partnership project between CoisCeim Broadreach and Dublin City Council’s Arts, Sports & Leisure and Community Development Sections.
