Five years ago a disaster struck New Orleans. Comedian and New Orleans resident Harry Shearer gets the inside story of Hurricane Katrina as candid locals express their views on life in the city. The film explores questions that people outside the Gulf region have pondered in the years since Katrina. Why would people live below sea level? Why is it important to rebuild New Orleans? The Big Uneasy serves as a stark reminder that the mistakes made in New Orleans could happen in other places in America. Harry Shearer will attend the screening.
