IRELAND ON SUNDAY: LIVING COLOUR

Director: Eamon Little

80 minutes| 2011| Colour

Ireland on Sunday is our monthly showcase for new Irish Film.

Set in a collective studio in a small Irish town, Living Colour explores the world of an inspirational group of artists while focusing on their abilities over their special needs. The result is an often hilarious, intimate portrayal of spirited characters which throws up questions about the deeply human need to make art.

This fascinating film brings us into the world of The Kilkenny Centre for Arts Talent (KCAT) in Callan. With wonderful access to the studio and the artists, director Eamon Little takes the audience on a journey into a unique and special place where a group of extraordinary and idiosyncratic artists work in an atmosphere free from ego.

Director Eamon Little will participate in a post-screening Q&A with writer/actor Mark O’Halloran.
