Winner of this year’s Oscar for Best Feature Documentary, Mark Jonathan Harris’ new film examines one of the lesser known stories of World War Two. For nine months before the war began, Britain conducted an extraordinary rescue mission, unmatched by any other country at the time, opening its doors to over ten thousand endangered children, most of them Jewish, from Austria, Germany and Czechoslovakia.
