The directors of the film, Scott McGehee and David Siegel, will join us via a Skype call for a conversation curated by fellow filmmaker Michael Kinirons. 

The IFI and Screen Directors Guild of Ireland are pleased to present What Maisie Knew as part of their Directors in Dialogue series. Starring Julianne Moore, Steve Coogan and Alexander Skarsgård, the film tells the story of unwitting six-year-old Maisie, caught in the middle of a bitter custody battle between her aging rock-star mother and her father, a major art dealer. 

What Maisie Knew opens at the IFI on August 23rd.
