IFI OPEN DAY: GRIZZLY MAN

Director: Werner Herzog

103 mins • USA • 2005 • Colour

To represent the IFI’s continuing dedication to the finest in international documentary filmmaking, we are delighted to be screening Grizzly Man, one of the finest documentaries of the past decade. Tense and hugely compelling, Werner Herzog’s remarkable film looked at the complex life and ultimate death of Timothy Treadwell, a wildlife enthusiast and bear aficionado whose — some would say irresponsible — way of life led to his own demise.Tickets for all films will become available at 11am on February 6th from the IFI. Tickets will not be available online or by phone, with a maximum of 4 tickets per person, all allocated on a first come, first served basis. Arrive early as tickets are expected to go quickly!
