This programme of films from the IFI Irish Film Archive was made by the late Colm O Laoghaire, one of Ireland’s most prolific and talented independent directors. Water Wisdom (1962) tells the story of a farming couple modernising their farm, introducing piped water to overcome the embarrassment of an outdoor toilet. Irish Gossamer (1958) shows beautifully-hued Irish textiles juxtaposed with images of the Irish landscape in this Bord Failte film.Tickets for all films will become available at 11am on February 6th from the IFI. Tickets will not be available online or by phone, with a maximum of 4 tickets per person, all allocated on a first come, first served basis. Arrive early as tickets are expected to go quickly!
