STF: HOW TO MAKE A WINNING DOCUMENTARY SHORT

IFI STRANGER THAN FICTION SPECIAL EVENTS

In recent years, Irish Short Documentaries have screened at major festivals across the world and brought home many international awards. In this panel, successful short documentary makers – including Ciaran Cassidy (Last Days of Peter Bergmann), Colm Quinn (Needle Exchange), Morgan Bushe (Fastnet Films) and Tom Burke (The Liberties and No Charge for the Hat) – discuss their approach to making their films and how they went about maximising their impact at festivals and beyond. It will be chaired by Alan Fitzpatrick (Filmbase).
