Griffin Dunne has been an actor, producer, and director since the late 1970s. Among his work, he produced and starred in Martin Scorsese’s After Hours, directed Addicted to Love, and the documentary, The Centre Will Not Hold,  about his aunt, the celebrated writer Joan Didion. At this event, hosted by Donald Clarke, The Irish Times’s film correspondent, Griffin will share memories of his extraordinary career and discuss his memoir, The Friday Afternoon Club, which includes his recollections of Hollywood and New York, and encounters with the incredible people he met along the way.
