IFI Education & Galway UNESCO City of Film
IFI Education is delighted to collaborate with  Galway UNESCO City of Film to bring a selection of Gearrscannáin to An Taidhbhearc for students of Irish. Galway has recently joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, and is now a designated UNESCO City of Film. It is one of only five cities in the world to achieve this much sought-after status and joins Bradford in the UK, Sydney in Australia, Busan in South Korea and Sofia in Bulgaria as a designated City of Film. This is a permanent global designation and brings the highest internationally recognised standard of excellence in the creative industries to Galway. Galway City of Film is housed in Galway Film Centre.
