Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander brings real emotional depth to this portrait of writer, pacifist and feminist Vera Brittain from her autobiography.

As a young woman, Vera sought and won a place at Oxford, despite the disapproval of her parents.
Romance ensues with her brother’s poet friend, Roland, but then war breaks out and Vera gives up her dreams to nurse wounded soldiers. The horror of war is portrayed through its impact on this young woman and the world around her.

Tickets: €4.25 including regular tea/coffee before the event.
