Fight for Your Life

Director:

U.S.A.| 1977. 82 mins.

Banned in many countries in the late 1970s, Robert A. Endelson’s brutal Fight for Your Life is a deliberately inflammatory contribution to the home invasion sub-genre. Three vicious criminals take refuge in the home of a middle-class black family and subject them to racial and physical abuse. The film contains some shockingly sadistic violence, but its real interest has to do with the blatant exploitation of racial issues and some very ripe language.
