Faced with the prospect of migrating for winter, cowardly bird Dougal (Mark Doherty) hides his fear of flying from his friends in this animated short. Haunted by nightmares of crashing to earth mid-flight, Dougal plans to hibernate through winter rather than go south to better weather. Characterised by a wry humour and a distinctive animation style, Fear of Flying won numerous ‘Best Animation’ awards on the festival circuit, including the LA Shorts Fest and Chicago Irish Film Festival
