Essential to any study of animation is the work of Walt Disney Studios. Following their huge success with Snow White, the studio applied their hand-drawn techniques to make this feature adaptation of an original story concerning Gepetto and his long-nosed wooden puppet. The inventor wishes that Pinocchio become a real boy so Jiminy Cricket is given the job of keeping Pinocchio out of trouble till he proves himself worthy. Needless to say, it’s not all that easy…
