The Cracow Film Festival has been going since 1961 and is the oldest event of its kind in Poland. The festival is primarily a showcase for new talent in shorts, animations, documentary shorts and features. Poland’s film schools continue to turn out exciting new talent. The Cracow festival’s national competition hosts a programme of work representing this talent, a selection of which we are delighted to showcase in Darklight. Cracow Film Festival programmer Kaja Krawczyk has selected the films.
