Tracing the visit of composer and aesthete Cyrill K to the island of Capri, Radax’s ambitious experimental music film explores the last 2000 years of the Italian island and its inhabitants. The film explores the fascination which the island has held for foreign visitors.
We meet many of the more or less illustrious visitors in the film, stretching back to the Emperor Tiberius. This parade is accompanied by the music created by the many composers who lived there through the years, including Klaus Ogermann. Winner of the Prix Italia, 1984.
