Against a backdrop of nostalgic scenes of Dublin: Switzer’s Christmas window, Brown Thomas on the other side of the street, the Joyce Tower and Mulligan’s pub, Eamon Morrissey reads passages from Ulysses.

This short documentary written by Ulick O’Connor and narrated by Micheál MacLiammoóir explores the Dublin in which Joyce lived and worked before his departure for Europe.
