PROGRAMME 2: TIDE ON THE TURN

In this markedly upbeat little film designed to attract foreign industry to Ireland, credit is given to Taoiseach Sean Lemass for selling Ireland abroad and making it attractive to overseas industrialists. A wealth of industrial footage includes production
lines at Volkswagen, Jacob’s and Erin factories where ‘the standard of intelligence of Irish workers is comfortably above the world average’!
