Animation has come a long way from the days of the early Disney films to the sophisticated computer-generated images of films like Dinosaur or the claymation of Chicken Run. Several animation companies operate in Ireland, producing work for TV, cinema and other media.
We are inviting experts who are studying and working in this exciting field to lead practical workshops for primary school pupils. These will include looking at different types of animation, storyboarding and modelling.
Suitable for 5th and 6th class pupils, groups are limited to 25 so early booking is essential.
