Adam and Eve

Internationally acclaimed actress Maria de Mederios (Pulp Fiction, Henry and June) plays Catarina, a bisexual TV reporter who decides to have a child on her own terms and chooses Spanish humanitarian doctor Rafael to be the father, setting up an elaborate charade to lure him into her bed. When Catarina reveals her pregnancy, though, she finds herself opposed by both her live-in girlfriend and the father. Spiced with intrigues and comic relief, director Joaquim Leitão’s film proved a popular hit at home.
