On ANZAC Day, Saturday 25th April, the New Zealand Ireland Association will host a screening of rare photographic and film footage uniquely curated for the NZIA to mark the anniversary of the WWI landing at Gallipoli. In a world-first cinematic experience, the event will also include a satellite broadcast of the Centenary ANZAC Dawn Service from Gallipoli from that same morning.
The screening will take place at the Irish Film Institute (IFI) on ANZAC Day, Saturday, 25 April 2015 from 11.15am to 14.00pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the NZIA, and cost a nominal €15 per adult and €5 per child (plus booking fee) to cover expenses. Ticket price includes tea, coffee and pastries which will be served in advance of the screening.
